Cast bios

Adam Bolette (Giles Corey) – Adam has spent years with Paragon, including 8+ years of training. He currently works as the office and rehearsal assistant. He has been seen on the Paragon stage as Mordcha (Fiddler on the Roof), Jud Fry (Oklahoma), Lucas Beineke (Addams Family), and John Brooke (Little Women). In his free time, he is part of the North Hills Harmony Line Barbershop Chorus, My Three Sons Barbershop Quartet, and Assumption Church Choir.

Nicole Brady (Abigail Williams) – Nicole attended Point Park University for Theatre Arts. Her favorite roles consist of Beth Hemming in Who Are We, Beth Hemming? and Laura Fairlie in The Woman in White. She has a BFA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Tech Design and Psychology.

Sam Cox (Mary Warren) – Sam attended University of Colorado Boulder and has a BFA in Performance. She is also currently studying for her bachelors in Education Early Childhood Development and is a Kindergarten Teacher at Mount Lebanon extended day program. Her favorite role has been Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family Musical). She was also a character actress for nine years, and enjoyed playing Rapunzel and Anna.

Deborah Geary (Rebecca Nurse) – Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in History/Political Science from Marywood University. Her favorite past roles are The Lady Jane (Patience), Ruth (Pirates of Penzance), and Little Buttercup (H.M.S Pinafore). Her hobbies are cooking and working with Pittsburgh Savoyards.

Kate Giger (Mrs. Ann Putnam) – Kate has been with Paragon since she was a freshman in high school. She will be attending CCAC in the winter for Phlebotomy and will be working as a Patient Care Technician in Dialysis. Her favorite roles include Miss Honey (Matilda), Yvette (Clue), and Snoopy (You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown), all with Paragon and Maddie Nulty (White Christmas) with Comtra. Her other hobbies are hiking and reading.

Addy Hildebrand (Mercy Lewis) – Addy attended Robert Morris for PR and Advertising with a minor in Theatre. She is a Marketing Specialist at Erb Physical Therapy. Her favorite past roles are Marcy Park (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Magenta (Rocky Horror Picture Show), and Liesel (Sound of Music). She enjoys hiking, singing, and camping.

Alex Kerr (Deputy Governor Danforth) – Alex attended the University of Scranton for Environmental Science and currently works as a technical assistant at Pittsburgh Paints Company. He has received years of training from Paragon Studios. His favorite roles have been Motel (Fiddler on the Roof), Frank Senior (Catch Me If You Can), Mr. Green (Clue), and Cinderella’s Prince (Into the Woods). In his free time, he enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, cross fit, video games, and board games.

Josh Lawrence (Reverend Hale) – Josh was last seen on stage as Clopin in Paragon’s highly acclaimed production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Other favorite roles include: Tito Morelli in Lend Me A Tenor (Paragon) and Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof (Comtra). Josh has a degree in History from the University of Richmond. He enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Addison Lee (Betty) – Addison is a sophomore at Slippery Rock University working on a degree in Environmental Studies. Her recent Paragon roles have been Finch (Newsies), and Ensemble in Matilda and Chicago. Outside of theater her hobbies are crocheting, Geology, Geography, and Environmental Club.

Tiffany Moore (Tituba) – Tiffany attended Penn State University studying cybersecurity. She was last seen on the Paragon Stage as Ensemble/Dance Captain (Fiddler on the Roof) along with her role as the Madame (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). In her free time, Tiffany can be found running with the Yinz Run Club.

Deborah Metzger (Elizabeth Proctor) – A graduate of Point Park University with a degree in Acting and Musical Theatre, Deborah is the founder of Paragon Theatre and currently works full time as Artistic Director. Favorite recent roles include Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda and the Witch in Into the Woods. She most recently directed Fiddler on the Roof for Paragon’s premier in their new theatre as well as The Hunchback of Notre Dame. In her spare time, Deborah enjoys fostering for Animal Friends, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Kirk Peters (Reverend Parris) – Kirk is a Freelance Website Programmer and holds a BA in Math from BGSU. He was last seen as Saunders in Lend Me A Tenor and Mr. Wormwood in Matilda, both with Paragon. Kirk is highly active in the Pittsburgh Improv community and has performed in over 125 shows since 2018. Currently, he performs at Arcade Comedy Theater.

Josh Plowman (Thomas Putnam) – Josh attended California State University Fresno and received a BFA in Theatre Arts. Recently, on the Paragon stage, he played Perchik (Fiddler on the Roof). Some of his favorite past roles include Mark Cohen (Rent), Patrick Star (The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical), and Mr. Fagin (Oliver!). In his free time, he enjoys hiking, Dungeons and Dragons, and music composition.

Sophia Quinn (Susanna Walcott) – Sophia is currently a sophomore at North Hills High School and is a student at Paragon Studios. Her favorite Paragon roles have been Centipede (James and the Giant Peach), Elmer (Newsies), Juror 5 (12 Angry Jurors), and mostly recently Ensemble (Fiddler on the Roof). Some of her hobbies include pickleball, babysitting, music, and Neurodiversity Club.

Donna Singleton (Frances Nurse) – Donna attended Penn State University for Rehabilitation Education. Recently she played Grandma Tzeitel in Paragon production of Fiddler on the Roof. Her favorite past roles include Bloody Mary (South Pacific), Evil Stepsister (Cinderella), and Walter Mitty’s wife (A Thurber Carnival). Now in retirement, she fills her time with gardening, crocheting, and obedience training with her two rescue dogs.

Tom Smithyman (John Proctor) – Tom is a Penn State graduate for Journalism. He was recently seen on the Paragon stage as Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Other recent favorite roles include Marc (Art), and McMurphy (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest). In his free time, he reviews comic books for Comicon.

Meghan Westwood (Martha Corey) – Meghan went to University of Bridgeport for her Master of Science Human Nutrition. She works as a Nutritionist for Pennsylvania Department of Health. She takes classes at TB Talent and Casting and also studies improv. She has been seen in commercials such as Kamin Science Center’s as Submarine Woman and Sandbox VR’s 2024 Global Campaign as Wailing Warrior.

Jackson Zang (Cheever) – Jackson is currently a senior at Pine Richland High School and a student at Paragon Studios. This is his second production, having been seen as Ensemble/Russian in Fiddler on the Roof. He also enjoys playing basketball, bass guitar, tennis, and boxing.
